dev environment on a microsoft surface. my background btw is as a macOS user, homebrew for system package mgmt and pyenv/pipx for python package mgmt, VS Code / Neovim for editing, use a lot of CLIs (litecli) and TUIs (visidata), iTerm for terminal. don't know much about Windows dev, know that WSL is a thing and that Python version mgmt on Windows seems to be in flux. https://peps.python.org/pep-0773/
